HDSN has recently conducted an Atraumatic Restorative treatment. ART training for primary Health Care Workers in Kavre from the 24th of April till the 28th of April 2010. The training was conducted by HDSN for the Oral Health Focal Point. Altogether 15 trainees were trained in ART. The training was conducted by Dr. Kiran Raj Awasthi and was assisted by Mr. Ajay Basnet and Mr. Daulat Bikram Tuladhar. The trainees were government healthworkers from diffrerent parts of Nepal. The practical sessions were conducted in Balmandir in Kavre where a total of 46 students received ART restorations while 6 had an extraction done. The trainees were given a set of instruments and a certificate by the OHFP after completion of the training.
