HDSN conducted an ART training for Government Primary Health Care Workers from different parts of the country in Ilam from the 25th of March till the 31 of March 2010. There were altogether 11 trainees from the eastern part of Nepal. The programme was conducted for the Oral Health Focal Point. The trainers that were involved were Dr. Kiran Raj Awasthi from HDSN and Dr. Sughir Shrestha from Koshi Zonal Hospital. Mr. Daulat Bikram Tuladhar from the OHFP assisted in the camps. The camps were held at Balmandir of Ilam. A total of 110 ART restorations and 15 extraction were done by the trainees in the four days. The trainees after the completion of the training were given certificates and a set of instruments to take to their respective health centres.
